Doctors in China have successfully reattached a man's severed hand after it was attached to his ankle for a month.
The man lost his right hand in an accident at work. (It could not be reattached to his arm right away.)
So, in order to stop the severed hand from dying, they attached it to his ankle… and it "borrowed" a blood supply from arteries in the leg.
They had to wait over a month to reattach the hand because he had to be treated for several other injures first.
The hand was successfully reattached but he will need some more surgeries on it before he has full use of it again. To see an actual picture of the procedure, hit up our Facebook page>>>https://www.facebook.com/HOT92.3?hc_location=stream
