Two Los Angeles icons and internationally loved music legends passed this week.  Dear Etta James.  We love you and we miss you.  We will keep your memories alive.  Thank you for your legacy!

And we lost Johnny Otis at 90, who discovered Etta and wrote her first hit, "Dance With Me Henry Wallflower" a song featured on the debut volume of our Oldies But Goodies albums.  Johnny passed on Tuesday 1/17, the day Betty White turned 90 and Muhammad Ali turned 70.  Here's a photo of good times with Johnny!  Thank you for your legacy Johnny Otis!

They joined the legendary fellow disc jockey, Wolfman Jack, in Rock and Roll heaven.  We lost the Reverend Wolfman too soon at the age of 57 in 1995. On Sunday January 22, 2012 Wolfman would have been 74.  And on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 Etta James would have also been 74.

So many memories of all of our Angels.....
