His Dad and Mom were Ozzie and Harriet, he went to Hollywood High and would stop by our broadcasts at Scrivner's Drive In on Sunset Boulevard for a burger and to hear the music.  Not long after, we were playing HIS records at the Drive In and the Teen Idol was autographing them for the girls (see the photo of us below).  RICKY NELSON would have been 72 on May 8th, 2012.  He died tragically in a plane crash on New Year's Eve 1985.  He's considered one of the Greatest Artists of All Time and we will always remember Ricky!
