David Foster is a multi-talented force in the music business. He started as a keyboardist, singer and songwriter in the band Skylark, who were signed in the early 1970's to a record deal by Capitol Records. So it's fitting that his Star is in front of the iconic building on Vine Street (along side one of his idols The Beatles) and that he was honored 40 years to the day (May 31st) that Skylark's song "Wildflower" was a Top 10 Billboard hit. David easily segued into a prolific producer, arranger, composer, author (his 2009 memoir is appropriately titled Hitman: Forty Years of Making Music, Topping the Charts, and Winning Grammys) AND he currently heads up the infamous Verve Music Group.
