Art Laboe is Radio and Music icon. He was one of the first Disc Jockeys to play Rock and Roll on the West Coast airwaves and today broadcasts six nights a week with his syndicated show, The Art Laboe Connection. Art Laboe coined and trademarked the phrase Oldies But Goodies. He innovated the compilation album with his 15 volume album series he named Oldies But Goodies. His many awards include a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (at Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave), the Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters Diamond Circle Award, the LARadio Lifetime Achievement Award, National Hispanic Media Coalition Lifetime Achievement Award and he's a National Radio Hall of Fame inductee. A permanent display of the Art Laboe broadcasting contributions also resides in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland. And he brings his radio show alive with the Art Laboe Show LIVE concerts throughtout the Southwest states. In 2012, he celebrated the 10th Annual Art Laboe Show LIVE at San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA, with the 11th coming in September 2013. This is just a fraction of what this Entrepreneur has accomplished. And Art Laboe is still going strong.
