DEAD GIVEAWAY: A Hero's Tale

If you haven't seen or heard about the harrowing story concerning the rescue of the 3 young ladies being held hostage in a house in Ohio, then now you have. It goes without saying that nothing can replace the time that these women have lost and the damage that has been done to them, but thankfully miracles DO happen! Thank you to Mr. Charles Ramsey, the neighbor responsible for helping these ladies regain their freedom! My prayers are with each of them!!

And so....here's the video that someone produced from the interview Charles Ramsey gave to a local news organization. Laugh and be thankful that this story has a happy ending!!!

Who isn't?!?!

Hill posted a statement to her official Tumblr account, announcing that she's back in the studio for the first time since 1998's iconic "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." The singer's only album since "Miseducation" has been 2002's "MTV Unplugged No. 2.0," recorded live at the MTV Studios in Times Square the previous year. This will mark her first studio material in 15 years, and fans will surely be anxious to lay down a welcome mat for the former Fugees singer, who has steadily grown more eccentric over the past decade.

Hill revealed on Tumblr that she is launching a new record label in conjunction with Sony Worldwide Entertainment as an effort to pay the $504,000 she owes immediately in taxes.

Get out the house and enjoy a retro date at the Electric Dusk Drive-In. This drive-in hosts monthly movies on a rooftop in the heart of Downtown, as well as private screenings and special events. You can enjoy the movie from your car, or grab an astroturf ticket to sit on the "grass". You'll also get a snack order sheet when you arrive, which you can fill out and hand back to your carhop, who'll bring your order right to you.
