Two words embody the essence of music and soul. CHAKA KHAN. I've had the pleasure of working with her over the years and everytime was special. Whether it was to promote a new album or to share with the world her hard work with "The Chaka Khan Foundation or simply to watch her perform and listen to that golden voice, she always had and has a smile for you. A smile that lights up the room.

Today we celebrate her 60th Birthday! She launches her "100 Days of Chaka Khan" campaign today as well. 100 days from now will be the 40th Anniversary of her 1st recorded album with Rufus, aptly titled "Rufus". July 1st 1973 was the day that we were introduced to Chaka, a teenager at the time. They recorded that album right here in Los Angeles.

Leave her a Birthday Message and be sure to look through the photo gallery I put together. It's from the day she got the 2.440th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.

Happy Birthday Chaka, God Bless you! Can't wait to hear your new album "ALIVE" 100 days from now!
