A ten-year-old from Utah was caught bullying another student for her wardrobe. Her punishment? Her stepmother forced the girl to wear thrift store clothes....to learn how to feel the pain of her victim.

The girl had to attend school for two days in outfits that were purchased for under $50, after a teacher told her stepmother that she was bullying another student who no longer wanted to attend school.

The teacher reported that the girl harassed the student for at least three weeks and was tearing apart her wardrobe, saying the girl was "dressed like a sleaze." The girl admitted that she cried when she saw the thrift store clothes, but the unique punishment did work.

She says that she has learned her lesson- especially when her classmates saw her in the clothes and talked behind her back.

A Miami man caught and killed an 18-foot 8-inch Burmese python, the largest ever found in the state of Florida.

The man was riding late at night in a rural area when he and his passenger spotted about three feet of python sticking out of the roadside brush.

He got out of his car, grabbed the snake behind its head and started dragging it out. He called for help when the python began wrapping around his leg, and used a knife to kill the snake.

University of Florida scientists examined the snake, and say it was a 128-pound female, and was not carrying eggs.

The previous record for the longest python caught in the wild in Florida was a 17-foot-7-inch, 164 ½-pound python.

A diver thought her boyfriend had found a stash of sunken treasure when he swam towards her with a diamond ring on their recent Caribbean vacation.

The 21-year-old Virginia woman said that she was even more surprised when she realized the diamond was actually an engagement ring and she was being proposed to underwater.

Her 23-year-old boyfriend swam to the seabed in his scuba gear.  He attempted to get down on one knee and gestured for her left hand.

In case she didn't get the message, he presented her with a waterproof map which traced 'the course of their relationship' and ended with the question: 'So... are you going to marry me, or not?'

The romantic moment was captured on video and, of course, she said yes.

An Army wife lost more than 150 pounds in weight while her husband was away in Afghanistan.  

The North Carolina woman weighed more than 300 pounds, and managed to keep her 150 weight loss a secret surprise from her husband who had been serving over in Afghanistan for over a year.

One he returned home and saw his wife for the first time in over a year, the soldier said:

'This is icing on the cake because I've been happy with the way she's looked since day one but it's something she wanted to do and she reached her goal."

There's poop in public pools.

A study found genetic material from E. coli bacteria in 58 percent of public pools that were tested during the summer of 2012.

"Swimmers frequently introduced fecal material into pools," which could spread germs to other people. E. coli bacteria are normally found in the human gut and feces.

Researchers also found genetic material from bacteria called Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which can cause skin rashes and ear infections. That was found in 59 percent of pools.

The fecal material in pools comes from swimmers not showering before getting into the water and from "incidents of defecation in pools". 

Chlorine and other disinfectants don't kill germs instantly, so it's important that swimmers shower before getting in a pool, not swallow the water they swim in and avoid swimming when they have diarrhea.

The CDC also recommends that parents of young children take children on a bathroom break every hour or check diapers every 30 to 60 minutes. Diapers should be changed in a diaper-changing area, not near the pool.

We've all had arguments with our significant other but geee whiz, not many drama sessions evolve quite to the level of this particular one.

A guy in Taiwan was so ticked off at his girlfriend for constantly nagging him about his drinking habit that he decided to whack off his private part. Yup, you heard me.

A hunter in Texas has bagged the largest alligator ever certified in the state.  The beast weighed in at 800 pounds and was 14 feet, 3 inches long.

The teen that shot the gator has been entering a special lottery for years in the hope that he would get picked to participate in this particular hunt.

This year, he and his dad got picked, and the state only gives out 10 permits in their area.

Both father and son each bagged a gator using lines baited with raw meat. Once they had the gators on the hook, they pulled them in close enough to blast them with a gun.
