    By popular demand, Kevin “Slow Jammin” James is back on the radio--every
    night at midnight for Hot 92.3’s Slow Jams. It’s four hours of very special Slow
    Jams, picked by YOU! Plus Kevin will be taking care of all your special late night
    dedications. Kevin’s on Monday - Thursday night, R Dub takes care of you
    Friday, Saturday and gives you Sunday Nite Slow Jams on Sunday night. Make
    sure to join us each night for an experience words can’t describe. And tell your
    friends that Kevin's back.

4 a note from Kevin…
     I am so happy to join the family at Hot 92.3. Am I a DJ? No. Am I an Air
    Personality? No. Am I your friend on the radio? Yes. I am shy talking about
    myself but here goes. I am from Western Pennsylvania and I guess you can
    figured out I am a huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan. I hang out in Venice Beach with
    my dog Phantom. I love music, people, animals, sports, travel, pizza and you. I
    appreciate so much that you take the time to listen and even read this
    paragraph or two. I want you to know that I am very active in the community
    and look forward to meeting you someday. If you are in the Venice Beach
    Boardwalk area let me know so we can meet.

    I have a huge music library and feel free to let me know what Slow Jams you
    like. If I don't have it I'll get it. The Slow Jams at midnight to 4 AM will be the
    stars of the show. I want you to get what you are tuning in for and that's a lot
    of Slow Jams back to back. Thank you very much for being part of LA's Best,

4 biography…
    The original host of “The Slow Jam” radio show, Kevin’s radio career started in
    Frederick, MD, before taking over the airwaves of Washington DC on WKYS. In
    1990, Kevin came to L.A. to work at 92.3 The Beat. In 2002 Kevin moved to
    Houston to do Slow Jams at Power 97.5, but a year later returned to L.A.
    Today, Kevin “Slow Jams” six nights a week on Hot 92.3, in addition to hosting
    Slow Jams shows during the weekend in Washington DC on WHUR, and a daily
    afternoon shift on slowjams.com--all this from the comfort of his seaside
    apartment in Venice Beach.
