Mary J. Blige is being sued for allegedly bailing on a concert in Dallas last December -- and according to the lawsuit, it's kinda Mick Jagger's fault. TMZ has learned  a promotional company called Vision Entertainment Worldwide has sued Mary J. and her production company, claiming the singer agreed to perform in Dallas on December 9th, 2012 ... but canceled just a few days beforehand. VEW claims it paid Mary a $145,000 deposit to appear ... and she never paid back the money, despite pulling the plug on the show. VEW claims Blige blew them off because she got a better opportunity to perform at the Barclays Center with Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones on December 8th ... and she took it. Unfortunately for Mary J there is video proof….she hits the stage 1:32  into the video below.

RIHANNA LATE FOR SHOW, AGAIN

 On Monday, Rihanna kepts fans in Birmingham waiting two hours before she finally hit the stage at 10:30pm, for what had been billed as an 8pm concert!  So what was the hold up? YBF.com reports that  no one has an "official" excuse, but paps did snap RiRi partying with bff Melissa Forde and model Cara Delevingne at London hotspot Bouijs at 1:45am.  And with reports that she left the club after 3am...it's natural that she would be a little tired. But there seems to be a bigger issue brewing overseas. It isn't that Rihanna simple starts her shows late.  In fact, UK critics have been panning her concerts as lackluster and boring. The London Standard said this about her recent Twickenham stop, "As her penchant for casually singing over the top of her own records at shows suggests, Rihanna wasn’t the most vigorous performer, and she looked dead-eyed …Rihanna deserves a break and so do we." Hey Rihanna, Beyonce is a tough act to follow…..

WAS TITLE OF MARIAH’S ALBUM LEAKED

According to the Walmart website, there's a Mariah Carey disc called "The Art of Letting Go," slated to drop on July 23. And, longtime friend and producer Jermaine Dupri also tweeted a link to his Global 14 website that says "The Art of Letting Go. The new album will be available for all the lambs on July 23." We still haven't heard the announcement come from the diva herself, so stay tuned….

RAPPER EXTORTED THRU TWITTER

Rapper J. Cole was extorted by a sick fan who tweeted a photo of a little girl with a gun to her head ... and claimed he would shoot her if Cole did not respond to his message. The fan tweeted last night "@JColeNC retweet me and I'll buy Born Sinner. Don't retweet me and I'll kill my lil sister." Shortly after the threatening tweet, which refers to Cole's new album ... Cole did indeed retweet the message. It's unclear if the gun is real or where the twisted fool behind the tweet actually lives. The account, which we're not revealing, claims to be out of Saudi Arabia -- but the truth is it could be anywhere in the world. TMZ  reached out to police in North Carolina -- where J. Cole lives -- to see if they were investigating ... but they hadn't heard anything about it.  We also contacted Twitter headquarters ... a rep said the company doesn't comment on individual accounts to protect privacy  This morning J. INSIDE EDITION got your first look today inside Kim Kardashian's luxury suite at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, where she gave birth to a baby girl. The suite, which costs $4,000 a night, looks like an upscale hotel room with sleek, modern furniture and deluxe catoring! Kim's baby was born Saturday, five weeks premature, and weighed in at just under five pounds. It was a natural delivery.  Kanye West was there for the delivery and he celebrated his first Father's Day. Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, never one to shy away from the spotlight, spoke about the birth at the Daytime Emmy Awards last night. "We're all good and extremely happy and thrilled for the new baby," Kris said. By all accounts the labor went just fine and according to a family friend the baby has dark hair and looks like Kim. The couple has reportedly decided on a middle name for the baby. It will be Donda, after Kanye's mom who died in 2007 when tummy tuck surgery went wrong. there are no pics of the baby yet.

TAMAR BRAXTON REVEALS BABY NAME

With a post on Instagram, Tamar Braxton revealed the name of her newborn son I Logan Vincent Herbert. “Happy Father’s Day to the love of my life, my best friend, my husband Vincent Herbert! Our son Logan Vincent Herbert & I are proud to share this day with you!! We love you soooooo much!!” she posted Sunday evening, along with the above pic of the baby grabbing Vincent’s finger.Braxton gave birth to her son on Thursday, June 6, and soon after posted a photo of three blue teddy bears surrounded by balloons with the caption, “He’s here!” on Instagram. The couple, have yet to reveal photos of the newborn’s face, but there is sure to be plenty of baby footage when the couple’s show “Tamar & Vince” returns to WE tv on Sept 5. SAMSUNG TO GIVEAWAY JAY Z ALBUM

Samsung is set to giveaway 1 million copies of Jay-Z’s forthcoming album to their customers. Who even knew Hov was even releasing an album until Game 5 of the NBA finals between Miami and San Antonio Sunday night. At the end of the 2nd quarter fans were treated to a commercial promoting the release of Jay-Z’s 12th solo album “Magna Carta Holy Grail.” The album will be released on July 4 exclusively to Samsung Galaxy users who download their new customized app. The album will only be free to the first million downloaders and then released to the general public three days later. The copies purchased by Samsung were sold for $5 each. There is a debate on whether or not this deal should count towards Jay-Z’s album sales, reports showbiz 411. If so he could find himself going platinum in a days time.

ALLEN IVERSON KIDNAPS HIS KIDS

Ever since Allen Iverson’s NBA career went bye-bye, Iverson’s character has been called into question on several occasions. In one such instance, the judge in his divorce trail basically said he was a lousy father to his children. And now Tawanna Iverson, according to TMZ, filed legal paperwork claiming Allen Iverson recently asked for permission to take their five kids on a short vacation to Charlotte, NC from May 22nd-May 26th (and Tawanna agreed) but when May 26 came and went, the children – who range in age from 3 to 16 years old – hadn’t been returned. Tawanna — who has sole legal and primary physical custody of their children — now believes Allen never took their kids to Charlotte at all … and is currently keeping them at a Sheraton hotel in Georgia. She now wants the court to force him to return the kids and punish him in some sort of way. If you’re thinking jail time … yes, that’s what she has in mind. Probably the one thing that hardcore Michael Jackson fans hated to admit or even talk about in the last years of his life were the constant rumors that he broke. Now, as a result of his wrongful death trial, it appears the rumors were dead on accurate. On Wednesday, AEG head man Randy Phillips told the jury about an emotional meeting he had with Jackson around Halloween, 2008.  Phillips said a tearful Jackson told him his 3 kids were living “like vagabonds” — shuttling from a Las Vegas rental to the Bel Air Hotel in L.A. In the final months of his life, one of the biggest motivators for doing the London shows was just to make enough money to buy his own home where he could raise his children. PROOF 2 CHAINZ WAS ROBBED

2 Chainz denied being robbed on Sunday afternoon in San Francisco. Unfortunately for him, TMZ managed to obtain the surveillance footage from the situation, and the camera just does not lie.There are two different angles of the robbery. The first shows 2 Chainz and his entourage walking down the street when they get stopped by a man wearing a white T-shirt and brandishing a gun. The rapper and his crew turn and start scrambling, the assailant skipping behind them. (click here) The second angle shows the chase, with 2 Chainz trying to put a car between him and the robber in the beginning, only to go back to the sidewalk when a second robber emerges, a man in a black hoodie. The Atlanta rapper ends up tripping, allowing for the robbers to take his wallet and cell phone.

PARIS JACKSON 911 CALL

TMZ has obtained the emergency call made from the Lost Hills Sheriff's Dept. to the L.A. County Fire Dept. on June 5 ... reporting that Paris Jackson had "OD'd on 20 Motrin and cut her arm with a kitchen knife."During the call, the Sheriff's Dept. tells Fire that Paris is "awake and breathing."The Fire Dept. also asks the Sheriff's Dept. if they want Fire to "stage" -- which is shop talk for "waiting" until the Sheriff's Dept. deems the situation safe to enter. The Sheriff's Dept. told Fire they didn't have to "stage" because it was not a dangerous situation. The call was made after Paris herself contacted a suicide hotline. And a follow up to yesterdays story The Jackson family members are said to be outraged at the prospect of Paris Jackson’s biological mother, Debbie Rowe, being the teenager’s legal guardian. Sources have told TMZ that members of the famed family allegedly believe Rowe is motivated by her desire for media attention, citing her statement to the media confirming the 15-year-old’s suicide attempt last week.  An insider added that the family will fight Rowe "tooth and nail" if she attempts to secure guardianship

RAPPER 2 CHAINZ ARRESTED

We still have not been able to confirm if 2 Chainz was robbed at gunpoint in San Franscico this past weekend. TMZ is confirming his arrest today. 2 Chainz was just arrested at LAX ... after cops allegedly found weed on the "I'm Different" rapper as he was trying to board an airplane, TMZ has learned.  Sources tell us ... 35-year-old 2 Chainz is currently being booked for possession of marijuana after he was caught with pot in Terminal 5. Just yesterday, 2 Chainz -- real name Tauheed Epps -- was tweeting about how impressed he was with the weed in San Francisco.  So far, cops are not commenting on the situation.

TYSON ON BROADWAY

Mike Tyson plans to return to Broadway with a new show about his life. The ex- champ was the unlikely toast of the Tonys Sunday after dancing with Neil Patrick Harris, and he told Page Six at a Plaza after-party he’s in talks to create a play “based on his life” as “his next step in theater.” An insider told us Tyson met with Spike Lee — director of his one-man show, “Undisputed Truth” — a day before the awards, adding, “Mike wants to also get into plays and even musicals.” The source said Tyson is exploring bringing “Undisputed” back to Broadway in the fall and embarking on an international tour.

Debbie Rowe could become Paris Jackson's guardian if the 15-year-old wants to make the switch, and sources tell us it's a real possibility. As we first reported ... the judge in the guardianship case has ordered an investigation into the welfare of Michael Jackson's daughter, after her attempted suicide last week. Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Rowe has made no attempt to become Paris' legal guardian -- a title which is now vested jointly in Katherine Jackson and TJ Jackson.  But that could change if the judge determines the current arrangement is not serving Paris well. If the judge opens up the guardianship case, he will give great weight to Paris' desires It's important to note ... when the judge held the guardianship hearing shortly after Michael died ... Debbie voiced concern about the welfare of the kids but accepted Katherine as guardian as long as the kids were protected.  Debbie NEVER waived her right to a guardianship, and we're told the judge would take Debbie seriously, given the fact that she's the biological mother with a meaningful relationship with Paris.

KOBE GETS APOLOGY FROM PARENTS

 It looks like Kobe Bryant reached a settlement with his parents and Goldin Auctions regarding the selling of his memorabilia. The settlement came with less than a week before Bryant and the auction house were supposed to go to trial, according to an ESPN report. But it looks like Ma and Pa Bryant will get some merchandise to sell. Basically, less than 10 percent of the items that were initially intended for sale will ultimately be put up for auction. On top of that, Bryant’s parents issued an apology over the entire situation. “We regret our actions and statements related to the Kobe Bryant auction memorabilia,” said Joe and Pamela Bryant in the statement, provided by a publicist. “We apologize for any misunderstanding and unintended pain we have caused our son and appreciate the financial support he has provided over the years. KANYE NEW ALBUM CHAOS

Kanye West is driving Island Def Jam executives “crazy” with last-minute changes, a new producer and legal issues over his new album, “Yeezus.”  Sources exclusively tell The New York Post  — just two weeks before the album drops — West brought in legendary producer Rick Rubin to help lay down additional tracks for the record, and Def Jam execs spent the week haggling over rights for a vocal he used on his song “Onsite.”“Even by Kanye West standards, this is pushing it,” said a music industry source.  Def Jam executives haggled over rights to West’s racy song “Onsite,” where the rapper samples an old vocal track from kids in a Chicago church choir. We hear lawyers last week had to track down the choir director and members of the Holy Name of Mary Church choir on the South Side of Chicago to get clearance for the vocals. Def Jam label chiefs were so worried about whether they would get rights to the track, producers re-recorded the vocals with a different choir to be used in case they couldn’t nail down an agreement with the Holy Name crew in time. CIARA SERVED  DURING PREFORMANCE

Ciara got notice of a breach-of-contract lawsuit Saturday night when she performed at Los Angeles’ Pride festival while singing onstage, TMZ reports. She had previously run afoul of West Hollywood club Hit Factory for bailing on a Friday performance, even though her reps claim she gave notice that she had to cancel. According to the website, Ciara had reached a $10,000 agreement to appear at the club. The Hit Factory is suing for lost profits and promotion costs from the event. Upon receiving the lawsuit onstage for the failed club appearance, Ciara threw it back.
