HALLE BERRY HAS TO PAY BIG BUCKS TO GABRIEL

Halle Berry's ongoing dispute with ex Gabriel Aubry just got a whole lot pricier. The actress, who has been battling Aubry in court over custody of their young daughter Nahla, 4, has been ordered to cough up $20,000 a month in child support, TMZ reports. In May, Aubry asked a Los Angeles judge to award him the large sum in order to properly raise Nahla, and on Monday, a judge ruled that Berry, 45, would have to shell out the nearly quarter of a million bucks a year. This is the first time an explicit child support order has been issued in their ongoing case, according to TMZ. But Berry may very soon be wiring those funds from across international waters. The actress recently asked for the court's permission to move Nahla with her to Paris, where she and her fiancé, French actor Olivier Martinez, hope to reside.  There, Berry hopes to escape the prying eyes of the American press so that her daughter can grow up in peace.  Berry and 36-year-old Aubry split in April 2010 after approximately five years of dating, and initially hoped to work out a peaceful custody arrangement.

THE JACKSONS MISS THEIR BROTHER, MICHAEL JACKSON

Jermaine Jackson says he’s been overcome with emotion during rehearsals for his Jackson family tour. The four surviving members of The Jackson 5 will hit the road this summer for their first tour in nearly 30 years, but Jermaine admits it hasn’t been easy without their former frontman Michael, who died in 2009. “The brothers don’t know this, but I’ve broken down several times and cried during rehearsals,” he tells the Associated Press. “I’m so used to Michael being on the right and then Marlon, Jackie, on and on. It’s just something we never get used to.” Jermaine will be joined by Tito, Jackie and Marlon when the Unity tour kicks off in Ontario, Canada on Wednesday (June 20), ahead of the third anniversary of the King of Pop’s death on 25 June – a day still steeped in painful memories for the family. Marlon explains, “For me, this cycle that comes around every year – this day, that day – that doesn’t affect me because it affects me every day. When that day comes around, it’s the same. You learn to live with it. I still wake up sometimes and go, ‘Jeez. I can’t believe my brother’s not here.’” However, Tito admits he feels closer to Michael by performing the group’s hits, adding, “There’s certain songs that make you feel the sorrow. Then again, there are other songs that bring so much joy and happiness, such as ‘ABC’ and ‘I Want You Back’ and the up-tempo stuff like ‘This Place Hotel.’ I just imagine how he used to walk and spin and do all these things. You can feel his presence here.”

CELEBRITY QUICKIES

Oprah is really trying to get those ratings up and shift the demographics of OWN viewers. For the next round of “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” the journalist plans to delve deep into the life of singer Rihanna. Now that she’s bringing Rihanna on, it’s a wonder if it’s about the rating or something bigger. She says, “It’s the television business. So when people say, “Are you trying to get ratings?” everybody who’s on television is trying to get ratings. For 25 years I tried not to think about ratings. I just did what I did because I had a contract that gave me the freedom of not [to] worry about ratings. But this is a business.”
