Michael Houston, Whitney Houston's brother, delivered some shocking claims during an appearance on "Oprah's Next Chapter" Monday night. Having a very close relationship with his sister, Michael Houston admitted to actually getting Whitney drugs prior to her rise as a Grammy Award winning artist. According to Houston, it was the 80's, doing cocaine was considered normal or common and when he started, she followed.

Feeling guilty for his part in Whitney Houston's struggle with substance abuse, Michael Houston says it's something he'll have to deal with for the rest of his life. Much of what Michael Houston said was a shock, ending long held beliefs that Bobby Brown led Whitney down that unfortunate road. In related news, Cissy Houston's book, "Remembering Whitney," was released today (Tuesday, Jan. 29).

DID CHRIS THROW 1ST PUNCH

Chris Brown may have some explaining to do ... for a guy who says he didn't do anything wrong in the brawl with Frank Ocean ... why is his punching hand in a cast? (click to see)  Chris emerged from his house Tuesday in a hard cast over his right hand, covering his knuckles. As we previously reported, Ocean claims his hand was also injured in the brawl at the famous Westlake Recording Studio in West Hollywood Sunday night Although we know Chris' version of events is that he did NOT throw the first punch, an eyewitness who spoke with TMZ says he initiated the attack with a swing. "Chris' lawyer, Mark Geragos, has already contacted detectives and said the singer is ready, willing and able to give them the blow-by-blow, because he knows he did nothing wrong," reports TMZ. While Chris might have that video on his side, the video also clears Frank Ocean, who is not seen throwing a punch at all.
