Chaka Khan has been forced to cancel four tour dates in June due to her doctor's instructions. The legendary singer was directed to rest her vocal chords for several weeks before she can hit the stage for shows in July. The concert dates that she withdrew from are The Capital Jazz Festival, Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, and Joni: A Portrait in Song.  During Black Music month,  Khan will be inducted into the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame at its 8th Annual Spring Gala Benefit. Patti Labelle, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige and Deborah will honor Khan with a presentation and performance.  Khan also plans to release, The iKhan Project: Alive album, to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of her entertainment career. The multi-genre album is tentatively scheduled to be available for purchase in the fall.

PARIS JACKSON UPDATE & MAKEUP VIDEO

Cops officially classified the Paris Jackson incident as a "suicide attempt," but they do NOT believe her intent was to kill herself. Law enforcement sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... based on the information the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. has gathered ... "She wanted attention."  One source involved in the case tells us ... her call to a suicide hotline is compelling evidence "she wanted to be saved."  The source added, "It makes no sense if you really want to die to call a hotline, where the person on the other end will get an ambulance over to your house." Among those visiting her are her grandmother/co-guardian Katherine Jackson, mother Debbie Rowe, brother Prince Michael Jackson, aunt LaToya Jackson and her former nanny Grace Rwaramba. “It’s not yet been decided what to do when Paris is released,” says the source, adding the matter is being discussed by Katherine Jackson and the other co-guardian, cousin T.J. Jackson. In other Paris Jackson news, Eurweb.com found a Paris Jackson youtube video the teen posted on Friday (May 31) in which she demonstrates her make-up routine in a 20-minute tutorial.

On Monday, she tweeted: “Just a heads up to those who have seen the makeup video, I really don’t know how that got onto youtube haha I actually don’t have a account… ‘But I mean it’s not a big deal .. I hope you guys liked it tho and didn’t think I’m too crazy .. I get weird when I’m not around people lol.”

MIGUEL DENIES WARNING

Contrary to reports, Miguel's team says he was not "warned" about jumping from one platform to another on the Billboard Music Awards. Releasing a statement late Wednesday, a rep for the "Adorn" singer says Miguel was never pulled aside to have a discussion. "The reports claiming that Miguel was warned by producers not to jump are completely false," the rep shared with TMZ. As widely reported, it has been alleged that Billboard Music Award executive producer Don Mischer told Miguel not to attempt the leap, but he went ahead anyway. As seen on the show, Miguel missed his mark, landing on two female fans. One fan is said to be considering a lawsuit.

Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning, and sources tell us it was a suicide attempt. Paris was taken out of her Calabasas family house on a stretcher at around 2 AM and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The 911 call came in at 1:27 AM.  We're told the caller reported a possible overdose, although a source connected to the emergency response said there were multiple cuts on one of her wrists. On Tuesday night ... Paris posted some cryptic tweets, including, "I wonder why tears are salty?" ... and "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay." Paris Jackson left a suicide note and then cut her arm with a meat cleaver ... TMZ has learned. Sources with an intimate knowledge of the situation tell TMZ ... Michael Jackson's daughter called a suicide hotline and the person on the other end was alarmed enough to call 911. Our sources say in addition to cutting her right forearm, Paris had taken a large number of Motrin pills. We're told Paris was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours and she received "numerous stitches" for the cut.

BOBBI K AT FIGHTING NEIGHBOR

Bobbi Kristina has been flying under the radar in the tabloids the last couple months, but her downstairs neighbors have been VERY aware of her presence. YBF.com is reporting that the Atlanta-Journal Constitution says Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon (the "alleged" god-brother) have been blasted with several noise complaints from the neighbors in their Alpharetta, Georgia apartment building, including the couple downstairs (with a one-year-old). Reportedly, Bobbi Kris and Nick had been partying until 5am on weekdays and it became a nuisance to the residents. After several complaints, Bobbi Kris and Nick were eventually evicted from the building,...but Bobbi Kris made sure she had the last word. She allegedly left an unsigned note on the door of the couple downstairs. Check out the not at YBF.com

TAMAR B. PART OF FEMALE TALK SHOW

Singers and TV personalities Tamar Braxton (The Braxtons) and Adrienne Bailon (3LW, The Cheetah Girls), along with Tamera Mowry-Housely (Sister, Sister), comedian Loni Love and style expert Jeannie Mai (How Do I Look?), have been tapped to host a round-table table talk show called "The Real." The Telepictures–produced show will be along the lines of "The View" and "The Talk," only with an all-women-of color panel aiming for the under-40 demographic. The show is slated for a test run this summer beginning July 8 on select FOX affiliates across the country, with hopes of the show being picked up nationwide in the fall. "The Real" joins talk shows like  Queen Latifah’s show and Kardashian momager Kris Jenner’s show “Kris” also premiering this fall. With the majority of daytime-dramas off the air, the daytime television landscape seems to be getting crowded.
