There have been many times when I needed to get a cute outfit last minute and A LOT of the times my shopping experience became stressful! On top of that, they were no longer fun and TRUST ME, I LOVE to shop. Though it was very difficult with my hectic schedule and the fact that the budget, for this last minute outfit, was very limited I finally came with a solution; Wardrobe Divas. I swear, not only is the shop a cute, artsy, hole in the wall (which are usually my favorite kind). This shop offers more than what you had in mind. The styles are very eclectic and VERY affordable. I got a chance to interview the lovely entrepreneur, Elvira Zamora, and this is what she had to express about her talents.

SMC: What got you into the fashion industry?
Elvira: My father's creative ideas got me into fashion. I am a natural born tomboy, chill person, however, since I was a little girl my dad made me cute clothes that always matched and he made them according to my personality or where we were going.

SMC: Are any of the clothes your personal designs?
Elvira: The only personal designs I have are still in the works and stuff I have actually worn myself...LOL. Trying to make something for the general public will take a lot of time, which I will want to dedicate this year.
SMC: How long have you been doing retail?
Elvira: I have been doing retail officially for about 5 years.
SMC: Do you also offer online shopping and shipping?
Elvira: Yes, check out www.WardrobeDivas.com and the shipping link on the bottom of my website.
SMC: I fell in love with your store when I found such inexpensive buys. What makes you continue such affordable prices?

Elvira: I am a great shopper, hence my "I have a BLACK BELT in shopping" in my profile...lol, I know how to look for the best buys from wholesalers and retailers and I put myself in other people's wallets.
SMC: What makes your store different from others?
Elvira: My store is all about every kind of girl. We like to style women of all shapes and sizes so our clothes range from XS to XXL. There are all kinds of styles that flatter women and we make sure we compliment that.
SMC: What inspired you to go into the vintage look?

Elvira: Vintage was something that I have always loved and I am learning about from Anita Baldizon, she is my partner in crime when it comes down to the OG vintage pieces.
SMC: You are very creative when it comes down to marketing your fashion lines. You are also very hands on for all your projects. What keeps you motivated to fit that in your already hectic schedule?
Elvira: My schedule does not allow me time to do anything, however, this is not about work, its love. Only love makes us do crazy things and that is the only explanation I have for the time & energy I find into doing what I do.
SMC: Do you have any encouraging words for your audience?
Elvira: Encouraging words..No matter what it is, your dream, go after it, do what you love and the result will show in your product. I am hoping to only get better and improve and learn from other Latinas out there doing it big so I am excited to meet more ladies in this industry doing it big! We should all bring each other up and not take each other out in any competitive or jealousy nonsense. Too much of that goes on I think.
Elvira has always been kind enough to take the time and work with whatever style I may be looking for. Her passion for fashion radiates out of her. So if you are ever in the valley (SFV) and you find yourself wanting to add some classy style to your wardrobe then 'Wardrobe Divas' is the place to go. If you can't visit in person, her website is just as AWESOME.

FROM: someone who appreciates fashion; TO: someone who contributes to fashion, Elvira we LOVE all that you do for us fashionistas! Keep up the AMAZING work!
