On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, President Joey Alcazar from USO (SFV Chapter) car club invited me to the, “End of Summer BBQ” that the council was having. He had explained that it was an intimate event, but other car clubs would definitely be there showing their support.
When I arrived the scene was full of laughter, kindness and good times. The mixture of family, friends and the local supportive LAPD made for a memorable day on my "Last days of summer."
