The holiday season is the time to be merry, festive, and who are we kidding- the time to enjoy some drinks.
On Saturday, that is exactly what I did. I got to have a great ol’ time with my fellow drinkers at ‘Gasser Lounge’. I could say it was an ordinary night as any other bar would have, but truth be told ‘Gasser Lounge’ is anything, but ordinary.

The evening started around nine thirty. It was a bit windy, but that didn’t stop my friend and I from looking good. We found parking immediately and that was luck in itself. We walked up to the driveway and noticed it was lonely. We thought maybe we were a tad bit early, but that wasn’t the case as soon as we walked in. The place was filled with the RADDEST people one could encounter.

The Christmas decorations were decked out and definitely played a role of what the evening held. Alexa and I approached the bar and were greeted by the blonde sweetheart, with the one arm tatooed sleeve. who served us our first potent round of cocktails-

When we finished our cocktails we decided to start the second round with Patron shots. Once again the blonde beauty came to our aid and filled two glass skulls. Alexa and I decided to pound them with no hesitation. We took out our limes and gave “Cheers!” to our evening of EPIC-ness.

Round three was just around the corner so Alexa decided to try a Fireball; clueless as to what this drink would do for us she ordered them anyway. So while we were waiting for the shots we were convincing each other that there was no room for chicken sh*%. The drinks were placed on the counter (I can’t recall who served that round) and as we were about to “Cheers!” we heard two good looking cats sitting at the bar encouraging us to, “just do it!”...So we did.
Soon after we hit the ladies room and asked the cuties at the bar to save our spot. They agreed and we ventured to the typical scenario - long lines and loud women. The friendly ladies told us about their evening and then one decided that she could no longer wait and stormed into the men’s restroom to make the line shorter for the females. I certainly was thankful for making it a shorter wait time.

As we approached the bar I ran into two of my favorite men, Orlando and Cyrus. We embraced, introductions were given, laughs were shared and we parted ways. We went back to our saved spot and round four commenced. We ordered two

Once we stepped out all you could hear were the powerful sounds of three Harley Davidson’s pulling up. I met the cool owners, Joe, Wayne, and?? (oops!) They were really laid back and agreed to take pictures. After the photo shoot Alexa and I went back inside to find ourselves ready for round 5. Alexa introduced me to a drink called; “Mind Eraser” and it lived up to its name.

…and of course NO holiday party can be without celebrating Chanukah and so that is when we heard “Hava Nagila” charging out of the speakers and witness a hot tub roll out, carrying a lovely tatooed dame who is pouring shots down into the crowd and passing out free swag. Cyrus, being the tall, gorgeous, Irish dream that he is- is assisting us short girls by reaching for the giveaways.

Three more shots in (courtesy of hot tub female) and everything slowly wrapped up. The last light show started while scenes of ‘National Lampoons Christmas Vacation’ played on the flat screen. Classic scenes, classic music including, “You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch” by Brian Setzer Orchestra presented snow (not really, but you get the picture…literally) the Gasser Lounge final touch!
With cheap drinks, GREAT service, AWESOME cats and dolls, 'Gasser Lounge' did it again by adding another EPIC night to my lifetime.
