Whenever you decide to be in a car club the best thing is coming up with the name of the club. The name is what represents ALL members and stands out from the rest. The ‘Dirty 30s’ definitely accomplished a stand out name.

The men that I met at the ‘Bob’s Big Boy’ cruise-in were not only friendly, but their talents showed with the classics they brought in.

Richard Day's 1931 "raw metal rod with blue wheels" is one of the reasons why I love attending cruise-ins'. Nothing screams HOT then a "350 motor with twin Holly carbs, a turbo 350 transmission and a Ford rear end".

Jeff Caputi has a 1930 Ford Truck, which he named beautifully as “G.I. Junk.” Nothing could be further from the truth when it carries a "350 turbo motor, a 350 trans, and a Lincoln 9 inch rear end".

Richard Alicata owns a beautiful dark purple 69 Charger that is stocked with a "1958 392 hemi motor, a turbo 400 transmission, and a Ford 9inch rear end." It's a real beauty!

Henry Kessler brought in his ’31 Rat Rod that has the rustic “unfinished” look, but when your car carries "real Henry J steele from a 1931 Ford"- you know it's anything but "unfinished". To make this bad a*$ roadster complete, a variety of parts were put together such as a "1952 diamond Rio tractor motor, a transmission out of a 1952 whites water truck, and headlights from a 1952 Buick. Yea, that's defintiely one finished rod.

...so with the night a success and the men from the 'Dirty 30s' being laid back, funny sweethearts. I can say that wherever they may cruise in, I will definitely follow.
