Okay now I've heard it all.  Apparently, there's a contest out there for the stinkiest sneakers in the country. 

Eight finalists from across the country showed off their smelly footwear in Vermont as part of the Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest.

It was an 8^th grader from Connecticut named Casey Adams who came in first.

The secret to her success was her chicken coop. She walks her dogs at the dog park every day and then cleans her chicken coop out at least three times a day.

Adams' sneakers will eventually make their way to the Odor Eaters Hall of Fumes.

She went home with a $2,500 cash prize. A new pair of sneakers is on her wish-list for when she spends the money.
