A man hunting wild turkeys in the woods in Alabama is lucky to be alive after a rattlesnake bit him in the leg.

His $10 snake-bite kit saved his life.

After the venomous pit viper rattlesnake bit him in the leg, he tried to stay calm to keep his heart rate down so the deadly venom didn't spread as quickly through his body.

He pulled his Bite and Sting venom extraction kit out of his bag and read the directions. He's carried it with him on hunting trips for years but never knew how to use it.

The doctors said without the kit he most likely would have died before he even made it to his truck.

I have mad respect for construction workers and window cleaners who risk their lives everyday hundreds of feet in the air.  I think I'm cool sitting behind the radio board doing my thang especially after hearing about this story.  

Three construction workers are lucky to be alive after a dramatic rescue at a Baton Rouge, LA hospital. The hospital is under a major expansion and the scaffolding snapped, leaving the construction workers dangling 100 feet in the air.

Crews raised one of the workers up to the roof, while the other two jumped inside windows and made their way down through the building.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

South Korean pop star PSY rolled out to Dodger Stadium last night (4/30/13) to check out one of his favorite baseball players- Dodgers pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu.

The Dodgers ended up winning the game 6-2 over Colorado and one of the highlights of the night was when PSY danced in front of Dodgers legend Tommy Lasorda. The look on Lasorda's face is priceless.

Much love to Kobe Bryant and may the recovery process from his injury be a speedy one.  Here's a video that should pump up all my Kobe and Lakers fans.
